Position overview : The Testing Coordinator ensures products meets quality and safety standards at every stage, from lab dips to production. You’ll handle testing submissions, follow up on results, and work closely with vendors Product Development team to keep everything on track. With a focus on detail and organization, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality products to customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Quality Checks :
- Conduct comprehensive testing of Idea Nuova products to verify quality, durability, and compliance with Walmart’s standards and specifications, ensuring all items meet quality standards to prevent unnecessary test failures.
- Testing Application and Submittal :
- Create and submit applications for Walmart items, including color testing, vendor testing, mockup, pre-production, and production testing.
- Attention to Detail :
- Ensure all samples meet strict quality control standards.
- Follow-Up on Testing Holds :
- Manage UL follow-ups for tests placed on hold or unanswered.
- Liaison :
- Communicate with the Product Development team and United Linens test facility to clarify requirements or obtain actions on submitted items.
- Consumer Testing Guidelines :
- Stay updated on Walmart’s consumer testing guidelines to ensure sample requests are accurate before shipment from to the U.S.
- Documentation and Tracking :
- Maintain a filing system for tracking UL color swatches and CSI color cards.
- Annual UL Testing :
- Conduct all annual UL tests for production, Mockup, and shade bands for both online and in-store items in the U.S.
- Create letters of guarantee and applications for samples no longer produced during annual testing.
- Daily Submission Tasks :
- Edit and send a running test submissions sheet by the end of each working day to provide clear visibility to our New York and China teams while maintaining accurate records of testing results, processes, and corrective actions taken.
