Position: Entry Level Event Specialist
Description: Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and eager to jumpstart your career in event planning? We are seeking an Entry Level Event Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of a variety of events. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced event planners, gaining hands-on experience while assisting in the coordination and delivery of diverse events ranging from corporate gatherings and trade shows to community festivals and private parties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events.
- Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, and transportation.
- Communicate with vendors to secure services and negotiate contracts.
- Support the setup and teardown of events to ensure a seamless experience.
- Help manage event budgets and keep track of expenses.
- Provide on-site support during events, including managing guest relations.
- Create and distribute promotional materials to attract attendees.,
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure.
