You will be an integral part of our Agile development team. You will play a key role in Software Development Lifecycle ensuring that our products are delivered to a published within planned release cycles. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about software testing and is eager to learn and grow in their career.
Responsibilities
- Execute the test cases and scripts to ensure that software products meet quality standards and user requirements.
- Identify, track and report defects and issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including developers and project managers, to ensure that software products are tested thoroughly and meet project goals.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure that testing activities are properly scoped and resourced.
- Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases and test scripts.
- Participate in continuous improvements initiative to streamline testing process and improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and development.
- Contribute towards the automation of test scripts and build required documentation.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- At least 1 year of working experience
- knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently an as a part of a team.
Desirable
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity or experience in using automated testing tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum Methodologies
- Knowledge of programming language and development tolls
- Willingness to continuously learn and develop skills.
