Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation.
- Accompany clients to appointments, outings, or errands.
- Offer emotional support and help alleviate feelings of loneliness or isolation.
- Foster an environment of trust and mutual respect.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to the designated family members or healthcare providers.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients.
Qualifications:
- Compassionate, empathetic, and a good listener.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form lasting, positive relationships.
- Ability to handle sensitive and personal situations with discretion.
- Experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stay calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Reliable transportation (if required for outings or appointments).
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
