About the Role:
Ideal Partners Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Accounts Payable Manager to lead the full-cycle AP process for one of our valued partners. This role will be responsible for overseeing invoice processing, payment disbursements, compliance, vendor management, and the implementation of automated systems. The AP Manager will also serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, staff, and internal departments regarding payables.

Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Receive, review, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with accuracy; ensure timely payments based on due dates.
- Credit Card & Expense Oversight: Manage corporate credit card program and expense platform; assist staff with usage and policy compliance.
- Compliance & Reporting: Collect and maintain W-9s for vendor onboarding; prepare and file annual 1099 forms.
- Documentation & Audits: Maintain organized financial records in compliance with retention policies; support audit preparation and responses.
- Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors; ensure up-to-date records and smooth resolution of any billing concerns.
- Process Improvement: Support the transition to automated systems and contribute ideas for increasing efficiency and accuracy in the AP function.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role; prior leadership experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of AP procedures, general ledger coding, and vendor compliance
- Experience with accounting software and expense management tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
