Campbell Fittings is pleased to announce that we are currently recruiting a Chip Process Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Supervisor Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain cutting fluids recycling equipment.
- Collect metal turnings from machining operations, move containers to turnings reprocessing area, dump containers into turnings crusher, operate crusher and wringer to remove fluids, and dump processed turnings into the appropriate containers for recycling.
- Maintain the recycling area, scrap, and turnings dumpster areas in a neat and orderly condition.
- Empty trash and clean containers inside and out when necessary.
- Refill floor absorbent containers.
- Fill cutting fluids reservoirs. Move oil drums throughout the building as directed.
- Clean machine sumps.
- Apply oil absorbent to floors as needed.
- Use power sweepers to sweep aisles and open areas.
- Manually sweep stairs, congested areas, around machines, and all other areas inaccessible to power sweepers.
- Maintain a list of weights on specialty metals for processing a load pickup.
- Load and unload the containers that hold the metals from the vendors trucks.
- Notify the proper person(s) to schedule pickup of processed materials
- Follow all established safety rules and procedures including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes:
- Mandatory: safety glasses, gloves, hard sole anti-slip shoes
- Optional: hearing protection
- Report defective materials and unusual or unsafe conditions to Production Control Manager and/or Plant Manager.
- Performs other related or additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills including active listening
- Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and able to ask for help when needed
- Must be comfortable and efficient in working in a busy open-floor environment
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as individually
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of working in a manufacturing environment highly preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing entire shift
- Must be able to lift and push up to 75 pounds throughout shift.
- Must be able to bend and twist throughout entire shift.

Work Schedule is: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm with overtime depending on business need
