Position Summary:
The HR Director – Secure Division will lead and execute strategic HR initiatives across Ideal Tridon's Secure Division. This role will focus on optimizing HRIS utilization, elevating employee experience, and ensuring consistent, high-performing HR practices across our facilities. The successful candidate will also spearhead talent management and succession planning, support executive leadership in organizational design, and provide local HR support for the manufacturing plant, distribution center, and company headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership & Organizational Development:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
Advise executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational structure improvements.
Facilitate leadership team meetings using EOS or similar frameworks.
Promote collaboration across HR leaders globally (China, Mexico, India), sharing best practices and supporting knowledge management.
Champion initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, company culture, and retention.
Talent Management & Succession Planning:
Lead the talent management lifecycle, ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of top talent.
Design and implement succession planning strategies to cultivate a future-ready leadership pipeline.
Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and implement development plans.
HRIS Optimization & Analytics:
Drive efficiency and consistency through strategic use of HRIS systems.
Deliver actionable workforce analytics and reporting to support leadership decisions.
Employee Experience & Leadership Development:
Build programs to support career development, learning, and performance management.
Collaborate with leaders to promote continuous professional growth and a culture of feedback.
Local HR Operations & Compliance:
Provide strategic HR oversight for the Secure Division’s manufacturing, distribution, and HQ operations.
Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
Offer guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, performance management, employee relations, and workplace training.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects with precision.
Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems (e.g., ADP), and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Sound judgment in handling sensitive HR matters with legal implications.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
Master’s degree or HR certifications (SHRM, HRCI) strongly preferred.
Minimum 10 years of HR generalist experience, with at least 5 years in HR leadership within a manufacturing environment. Automotive industry experience is a plus.
Prior experience with HRIS and learning management systems preferred.
Compensation & Bonus:
This position offers a competitive base salary plus eligibility for a 15% bonus under the Individual Contribution Plan (ICP), based on individual and company performance.
