What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Operations Coordinator position at Idealist Consulting?

As a Sales Operations Coordinator, you will support sales team effectiveness and efficiency through administrative support, data tracking, and the coordination of cross-functional efforts. Your work will help drive informed decision-making and contribute to revenue growth.
This position is part-time, hourly and reports to the VP of Growth and Development.
\n- Sales Tools & Technology Management
- Facilitate the selection, implementation, and adoption of sales tools and technologies to streamline workflows and boost productivity.
- Monitor new system releases, software updates, security compliance requirements, and system exceptions.
- Advise on platform renewals by auditing current use, anticipating future needs, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate the digital tool procurement process in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Drive user adoption of existing tools through education, training, and ongoing support.
- User Training & Support
- Onboard, train, and offboard sales team members on sales-specific systems and platforms.
- Create tip sheets and provide ongoing support to enhance system usability.
- Train the Idealist Consulting team on usage norms and best practices.
- Monitor the #helpdesk channel and provide troubleshooting support for system users.
- Sales Process & Data Management
- Maintain data governance standards, including file organization and permission sets.
- Perform light system administration with opportunities for growth in technical responsibilities.
- Track and analyze key sales performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Support sales forecasting and planning efforts to ensure accurate revenue predictions.
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement improvements for increased efficiency.
- Facilitate the maintenance of Sales Department Wiki(s)
- Executive Assistance Assist the VP of Growth with special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials on an as-needed basis.
- Provide additional operational support to ensure timely completion of key sales objectives.
- Adapt to changing priorities and be flexible in managing new and unforeseen tasks.
- Base line:
- 2 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce CRM use with basic administration preferred
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience in training and onboarding individuals to cloud based solutions
- Natural tech-savvy with enthusiasm for growing this experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Systems thinker with a growth mindset
- Previous experience working with remote teams
- Comfortable working in Google Suite (including Sites), Slack, and Salesforce (or other CRM)
