Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE SALESFORCE EXPERIENCE AND LIVE NEAR THE RESTON, VA AREA
Design, build, implement and maintain Salesforce solutions
Analyze business requirements and turn them into technical solutions
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, analysts, managers, and engineers to ensure solutions meet business needs
Develop technical, user and process documentation and diagrams
Mentor other software engineers
Conduct code / solution reviews
Assist with testing
Administer and maintain multiple salesforce instances across different countries
Act as second level support for issues the support desk needs help with
Act as technical Subject Matter Expert for the business stakeholders
Identify and resolve technical issues; recommend solutions and improvement in pursuit of continuous improvement.
Ensure technical solutions are robust, reliable, easily sustainable / maintainable, scalable and secure
Stay up to date on latest technologies, trends and best practices

Qualifications
5 years’ experience with salesforce solution design, development, implementation and support
8 years’ overall software engineering and database development experience
Strong experience in Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, including knowledge management, omnichannel routing, field services, Customer and Partner Portals, contact center, service center, CTI, VIR, case management, service console and Salesforce data structures and data modeling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent collaborative skills
Strong understanding of IT security practices in the modern world of malicious actors from nation-states and large-scale organized crime syndicates
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Salesforce integration and ETL in general
Strong knowledge of SQL, especially T-SQL
Strong web development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related frameworks and libraries
Experience with agile Scrum development
Experience building customer reports and dashboards in Salesforce
Understanding of DevOps practices including automated testing, source control / versioning, continuous integration and continuous deployment
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Triggers, flow, workflow, process builder, data loader, Apex
Strong understanding of Salesforce security including Roles, Profiles, User Access Policies, Permission Sets & Permission Set Groups, Public Groups, Queues, etc.
Experience with additional programming languages and methodologies, especially Python or C# a strong plus
Knowledge of French language a plus, but not required
