Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Reporting : Human Resources Manager
Mission of the position : To align Human Resources strategies with department goals in order to drive organizational performance and foster a productive and engaged workforce. This involves collaborating closely with leadership and departments to understand business needs, develop talent, enhance employee experience, drive change where needed and ensure compliance. The right candidate for this role is a strategic thinker, has high emotional intelligence, effective change management skills and is trustworthy with high ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as a bridge between leadership and employees, ensuring HR solutions support both business goals and employee well-being.
Facilitate primary HR functions including performance management, employee relations and compensation.
Assist in end-to-end recruitment process for customer base including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and onboarding.
Administer leave management processes including FMLA, ADA, and Disability.
Facilitate company’s talent pipeline programs including co-ops and internships.
Major Challenges:
Managing a high-volume workforce in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment.
Addressing employee concerns while ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
Supporting HR initiatives while managing administrative workload.
Adapting HR practices to a changing workforce and evolving business needs.
Ensuring compliance with evolving labor laws with safety regulations.

Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferable in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Knowledge of employment laws, HR policies and best practices.
Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Skills:
Strong initiative, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
