What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Support Engineering Intern position at IDEXX?
As a Product Support Engineering Intern you will work in a collaborative environment on problem solving and change assessment efforts related to a portfolio of veterinary diagnostic products in the Animal Healthcare industry, focusing primarily on our Hematology analyzers.
In this role, you will :
Support problem solving projects by holistically approaching products as integrated systems.
Support the characterization and troubleshooting of systems by evaluating component parts, executing experiments, and performing data analysis to inform decisions or recommendations.
Use advanced knowledge to analyze, interpret or make deductions from varying facts or circumstances.
What you will need to succeed :
You are a 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a BS in Engineering (systems engineering, biomedical, electromechanical, mechanical, etc.).
Have a problem-solving mindset and enjoy working with data.
Can synthesize diverse product, scientific, engineering and business requirements into straightforward architectures.
Possess a good understanding of life and biological sciences.
Experience using analytical tools such as JMP, Excel, Minitab, SAS, Tableau, or other software tools (preferred).
Have general computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) and other engineering software as required.
Can work both independently and within cross-functional teams.

This is 40 hour per week position requiring an on-site presence typically 3 to 4 days per week with schedule flexibility with respect to the days.
