Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Oracle DBA :
- Creating and maintaining production, reports, and development databases
- Performing proactive capacity planning and monitoring to ensure database availability
- Installing patches and new versions of the Oracle / SQL Server database for compatibility with existing applications
- Planning and implementing backup and recovery of databases
- Managing encryption on Production and non-production databases (SSL & TDE)
- Migrating Non-CDB database to CDB database as needed
- Implementing and enforcing security for all databases
- Providing technical assistance to application development teams in designing various objects in the database schema
