Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Process Engineer III:
- Supervise installation and start-up of systems
- Act as site engineer, engineering coordinator, and start-up engineer
- Develop new equipment and techniques, including hardware/software evaluation
- Train customers via training sessions, publications, and presentations
- Provide internal training on processes
- Recommend improvements to equipment and processes
- Address technical inquiries from customers and employees
- Produce daily progress reports during startups and field visits
- Write trip reports after customer visits
Required Skills for Process Engineer III:
- Minimum of 6 years in Process Engineering or Industrial Operations
- Hands-on experience with molten metal processing systems
- Ability to interpret design documents (vendor/SCR drawings, manuals)
- Strong project management, planning, and scheduling skills
- Ability to learn AutoCAD (experience preferred but not required)
- Highly adaptable to changing project requirements
- Strong communication skills for customer interactions and training
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering principles (preferred)
