Data Center Technician

IDrive Inc. is a leader in cloud storage, backup and sync services with over 5 million users worldwide, and storing over 500 Petabytes of storage.

We are currently seeking a full time Data center Technician to Handle tasks including but not limited to following list.

Job Location: 5737 NE Huffman St, Hillsboro Oregon 97225

Job Description:
- Manage and maintain a large number of servers in a colo environment.
- Troubleshoot both hardware and software issues with servers, networking, and external hard drives.
- Be able to install new servers and switches as they arrive on site.
- Cable and set up new hardware from start to finish, making sure to keep equipment nicely organized and maintained.
- Be able to lift up 70 lbs safely, and approach all installations safely and efficiently.
- Keep inventory stocked and updated, and predict when new orders of equipment will be needed.
- Work with other teams in different locations across the globe to maintain optimum operations within the company.
- Receive and ship a large number of packages, large and small, and keep track of the contents of the packages as needed.
- Be able to multitask and assist with issues as they arise, rearranging priorities as necessary.
- Keep up to date on various protocols within the company, including OS installation protocols, scripting updates, and Rapidserve procedures.
- Work closely with other teams on individual cases, to ensure swift completion of customer orders within the allotted time frame.
- Maintain a professional relationship with the onsite NOCs to ensure the cage(s) have proper upkeep, and issues with have swift resolutions.
- Keep track of tasks completed and keep records of any cases worked on, in the event of a report needing to be drafted.
- Be willing to tackle interesting and unique projects that may require inventive solutions to accomplish with the aid of your team.- On-site full-time Monday through Friday, in addition, be available for On call.Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and be available on call.

Salary: Hourly Rate $27 to $32 range Based on Experience and Education Benefits
