Job Summary

The Business Development Representative is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling all inbound, sales-related inquiries while also driving pipeline growth by identifying and qualifying leads, initiating conversations, and setting appointments for the sales team.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound inquiries to identify and qualify sales opportunities 
  • Develop new and innovative tactics for lead generation 
  • Engage prospects through calls, emails, and social selling to drive interest and qualify leads
  • Schedule new qualified meetings for the sales team with Director levels and above
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to maximize outreach efforts
  • Provide preparation to the sales team for scheduled meetings
  • Perform all other duties and projects as assigned


Qualifications 

  • BA/BS Degree in Business, or a related program, or equivalent experience
  • B2B SaaS experience preferred 
  • B2B lead generation or sales experience preferred
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and works well with others
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced growth environment with potential for upward mobility


Work Environment

This position will be located in IDScan.net’s New Orleans Headquarters. However, remote applicants are encouraged to apply.  Normal work hours are 8:30-5:30 CT, Monday-Friday  with occasional overtime. Remote work is an option. This position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.
