The Role
We're on the hunt for a dynamic Finance Manager to join our global Finance team, with a focus on Sweden and Finland! Based in our vibrant Gothenburg office, you'll be a key player in driving efficiencies across the Nordics, while reporting directly to our Group Financial Controller in the UK. This is a unique, standalone role that offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with our Finance teams in London and India, all while making a big impact on our operations across the region!
What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for the overall Finance & Payroll function in Sweden and Finland
- Responsible for Month End reporting for Sweden and Finland.
- Responsible for ensuring the CRM data is accurate and timely updated by the Sales team in Sweden and Finland
- Responsible for ensuring that client contracts are saved for each project
- Responsible for revenue recognition monthly
- Involved in the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts and monthly variance analysis, etc.
- Handle day to day Finance, Payroll and HR queries in a professional manner
- Responsible for accounts payable, employee expenses and accounts receivable including invoicing and collections
- VAT and Tax declarations monthly and yearly
- Handle contact and contracts with vendors and customers
- Responsible for internal controls i.e. segregation of duties, maintenance of master data across the internal systems
- Responsible for annual reports and audit.
- Contact with external auditors
- Collaborate with the other internal teams i.e. Sales Operations team, etc.
- Continually improve processes to drive simplicity, efficiency, and accuracy across all internal systems
- Ad-hoc administrative work or special projects driven by the Group Financial Controller
About You
- Qualified accountant or equivalent work experience with payroll knowledge
- 3 years experience in a similar role
- Swedish and English language
- Comfortable working independently with the rest of the Finance team in a different location
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and relationship building
- Strong collaboration to foster close relationships with the internal teams
- Ability to prioritise and manage several tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable with constant change and the ability to work in an agile environment
- Analytical mind-set with ability to define problems and propose recommendations
Nice to have
- Experience with working with international teams
- Experience with managing budgets, forecasts and analytical review
- Experience with working with D365 Business Central and CRM systems in general
