Summary Of Position
In conjunction with the Customized & Faculty-Led Programs team and IES Abroad Center staff, the Customized Programs temporary position collaborates, coordinates and communicates with various stakeholders on vital program administration including, but not limited to: program development, student communication, pre-departure maintenance, and post-program administration. This position will provide support with the essential job responsibilities of the CPC and CPM, as needed.

Summary Of Position
In conjunction with the Customized & Faculty-Led Programs team and IES Abroad Center staff, the Customized Programs temporary position collaborates, coordinates and communicates with various stakeholders on vital program administration including, but not limited to: program development, student communication, pre-departure maintenance, and post-program administration. This position will provide support with the essential job responsibilities of the CPC and CPM, as needed.
Essential Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Communicate and collaborate with the Customized Program Managers (CPMs), Assistant Directors, Customized Program Coordinators (CPCs) and IES Abroad Center staff to coordinate program details to handle proposals in various stages of the process
- Develop process expertise and general Center knowledge to communicate effectively with customized programs students
- Maintain and update systems with current information and troubleshoot any issues and maintain data entry tasks provided by CPCs and CPMs
- Format and edit any necessary contracts
- Upload student rosters and process student registration
- Assist in program tracking and pre-departure tasks
- Create, assign, review, and track program forms for the CPCs and CPMs to ensure deadlines are met for each program
- Process medical reports and note sensitive student information for Student Affairs follow up
- Enroll program participants in medical insurance as necessary
- Customize and edit program/destination-specific pre-departure guides
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job

- 2 years’ experience in administrative role
- Extremely strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate values and promotion of diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism required.

- Act in a professional manner at all times
- Ability to exercise sound judgment when handling a variety of issues
- Strong problem-solving skills

- Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Reader, and CRM software
- Drupal skills preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- Master’s Degree preferred
