IES Commercial, Inc. is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager in Nebraska, with flexible working location in Norfolk, Lincoln, Grand Island, Omaha, or Kearney NE.
Job Summary
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, including sourcing and qualifying potential projects for large commercial and industrial electrical contracts.
- Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with current and prospective customers to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintains close working relationship with senior leadership team.
- Provides oversight and assistance as needed for team of experienced estimators.
- Applies estimating best practices and procedures.
- Conducts job site visits as necessary.
- Qualifies quotes for special materials and sub-contracts.
- Prepares and Oversees proposal letters, bid forms and turnover packages on awarded projects.
- Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Travels as required.
Qualifications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills and exposure to MS Office.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.
