IES Commercial, Inc. – Commercial & Industrial Division, seeking full-time Electrical Service Manager in Richmond, Virginia area.
Job Summary
- Responsible for estimating and take-offs in a manner that awarded projects are attainable within contract quotes and within the assigned time period.
- Plans or prepares all contract administration, executing and directing project activities, monitoring field installation process, coaching field personnel and developing/maintaining client relationships.
- Attends, coordinates or conducts meetings and activities with Technicians, trade contractors and suppliers to review scheduled project progress, shop drawing requirements, and material deliveries to ensure attainment of project objectives, scheduled completion, and timely delivery.
- Oversees, delegates, and monitors all Technicians performance on assigned projects to ensure that project is completed within established schedules; project budget established at hand-off; and quality standards.
- Travel may be required.
Qualifications
- 10 years recent electrical service management experience.
- Related education or equivalent training/experience in construction management preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, trouble-shooting skills and ability to estimate jobs.
- Knowledge of all cost elements, cost coding and ability to prepare and manage department budgets.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check.
