Job Summary :
The Commissioning Manager defines commissioning requirements for projects and monitors them to ensure compliance. The Commissioning Manager works in conjunction with Engineers, Operations and Project Managers to manage all aspects of the IES commissioning process.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES 70% TRAVEL
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- The Commissioning Manager will review contract documents and drawings.
- The Commissioning Manager will validate that site installations adhere to specifications, drawings & contract documents.
- The Commissioning Manager will oversee start-up and turnover of equipment / systems as defined by project requirements.
- The Commissioning Manager will coordinate training of operational and local staff per project requirements.
- The Commissioning Manager prepares the Lessons-Learned log to ensure continuous improvement of the commissioning process.
- The Commissioning Manager provides on-going operations support, project assessment and capital planning with project manager.
- The Commissioning Manager completes full documentation of all required commissioning deliverables for each project.
- The Commissioning Manager is responsible for providing technical support to project managers.
- The Commissioning Manager will review all monthly projects’ Estimates to Complete (ETC) with local branch & corporate finance managers.
- The Commissioning Manager will ensure documentation and handovers are in accordance with IES procedures.
- The Commissioning Manager will meet on a regular basis with IES teams to ensure that identified deficiencies are repaired.
