General Job Description

The Corporate Sourcer will play a pivotal role in supporting recruitment efforts as part of a shared services model across all IES Holdings divisions. This position is responsible for proactively identifying and engaging with top talent in the market to build a robust candidate pipeline, ensuring field recruiters across multiple business units have access to qualified candidates to fill critical roles efficiently. The Corporate Sourcer will also collaborate with the internal marketing team to post and promote job opportunities on various social media platforms, enhancing the organization’s reach and employer brand.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Sourcing:

    • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier candidates for various roles across all IES Holdings companies.
    • Leverage diverse sourcing channels, including job boards, social media platforms, networking events, industry groups, and other creative methods.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of passive and active candidates to meet immediate and future hiring needs.
  2. Shared Service Collaboration:

    • Act as a central sourcing resource for all divisions under IES Holdings, providing consistent support to field recruiters.
    • Partner with field recruiters to understand job requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring priorities specific to each division.
    • Balance workload across multiple business units, ensuring fair and timely support for all stakeholders.
  3. Social Media Recruitment & Marketing:

    • Work closely with the internal marketing team to post job advertisements and recruitment campaigns on various social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others.
    • Collaborate on creating engaging, visually appealing content that attracts top talent and promotes the IES Holdings employer brand.
    • Monitor the performance of social media job postings and adjust strategies to maximize reach and candidate engagement.
  4. Market Research & Insights:

    • Conduct market research to identify talent pools, competitor practices, and hiring trends relevant to IES Holdings' industries.
    • Provide data-driven insights to recruitment teams to refine hiring strategies and improve outcomes.
  5. Candidate Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective candidates, representing the IES Holdings employer brand.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with candidates to create a positive candidate experience and maintain engagement for future opportunities.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  6. Process Improvement:

    • Continuously evaluate and refine sourcing tools, platforms, and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the shared service model.
    • Share best practices across divisions and contribute to the development of training resources for the recruitment team.

 


Specific Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in talent sourcing or recruiting, preferably in a corporate or shared services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, social media platforms, and recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Experience with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others for recruitment purposes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, shared services setting.
  • Familiarity with electrical contracting or construction industries is a plus.
