Position: Payroll Coordinator
Location: North Port
Overview:
The Payroll Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of the company's weekly payroll. This position involves specialized and confidential duties, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality. This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately maintain payroll data through the collection, calculation, and input of information.
- Update payroll records with any changes in exemptions, savings deductions, and adjustments in job titles or departmental transfers.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies through detailed collection and analysis of information.
- Uphold payroll operational standards by adhering to policies and procedures and suggesting necessary modifications.
- Ensure the confidentiality of payroll operations and employee information.
- Deliver exceptional support to employees with any payroll-related queries or concerns.
- Contribute to the team's objectives by fulfilling related tasks as required.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Preference for candidates with experience using ADP WorkForce Now.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and mathematical skills.
- Proven ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships and provide effective assistance to employees.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing is necessary.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with ADP and Microsoft Office is essential.
- Requires 2-3 years of experience in a payroll-related role.
Physical Demands:
- This job primarily involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 15 pounds may be required.
