Job Summary
The Laser Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to produce high-quality fabricated parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines as per daily specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Maintain a productive workflow to meet production goals.
- Accurately record work activity on routing and material sheets when required.
- Safely and efficiently operate tow motors and overhead cranes.
- Identify and report any issues, including quality concerns or non-conforming material reports (NCMRs), to the Department Lead, Supervisor, and Quality team.
