Machinist
$2,500 Sign-on Bonus
(Payable after 90 days of Employment)
We are looking for an entry level machinist to join our job shop. Join a growing organization where we machine interesting and unique pieces. We have an opening for a machinist to run our Doosan machines and learn how to run our interesting heavy machining equipment.
Responsibilities
- Experience with G and M Code programming is helpful
- Overhead crane and rigging experience a plus.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a safe, cautious manner, exercising care and concern for people, equipment, and product
- Willing to learn large material handling
- Competency in being able to prioritize, make decisions, follow instructions, recognize and adhere to standards of quality
- Work independently and with others, demonstrating responsible behavior and attention to detail
- Ability to perform daily preventative maintenance measures to ensure safety of equipment and work environment.
- Knowledge of crane rigging experience with large parts a plus
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Strong math skills
- Prefer 1 year machining experience in a production
