Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and specifications to understand quality expectations.
- Inspect and approve or reject raw materials based on established quality standards.
- Select output samples and perform inspections using appropriate measuring tools and testing methods.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, including detailed reports and performance logs.
- Monitor and ensure production processes align with quality and safety standards.
- Check gauges and testing equipment for proper functionality and notify the supervisor if maintenance is required.
- Prepare, scan, and electronically file quality control reports.
- Recommend improvements to production and quality control processes.
- Educate production team members on quality control best practices when requested.
- Address and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Initiate and process Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) and properly tag defective materials until dispositioned.
