Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable solutions
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and manufacturers
- Prepare and process purchases into inventory
- Assist with management and control of materials and consumables
- Ensures purchase order accuracy
- Resolve issues with vendors, contractors and suppliers

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field Preferred
- Two years plus experience in purchasing or related field
- Experience purchasing copper, metal and electrical components is a plus
