Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Service Technician to join our team. This position will require you to perform a variety of tasks related to the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, testing, and mechanical repair of electrical apparatus. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of mechanical and / or electrical applications and be committed to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks. This role involves the potential for overtime, weekend work, and travel to customer sites when necessary.
Key Duties & Responsibilities :
- Disassembly & Cleaning : Perform disassembly and cleaning of electrical and mechanical components using established procedures.
- Mechanical Inspection : Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical components to assess wear, damage, or potential failure.
- Assembly : Reassemble components and systems according to manufacturer instructions and established procedures.
- Testing : Test repaired and assembled units to ensure functionality and performance meet required standards.
- Mechanical Repair : Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems as required, utilizing established quality procedures.
