We are seeking an experienced Excavator Subcontractor to join our electrical team at IES Residential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating excavators and a thorough understanding of excavation processes, safety protocols, and site management. The subcontractor will be responsible for executing excavation tasks on various construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Excavation Operations:
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery for digging, trenching, and grading.
- Properly installing electrical conduit and back filling trenches.
- Perform site preparation activities, including clearing and leveling land.
- Execute precise excavation work according to project specifications and blueprints.
Site Management:
- Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Ensure that excavation work aligns with other construction activities on site.
- Monitor and maintain worksite organization and cleanliness.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas for potential hazards.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
Equipment:
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on excavators and related machinery.
- Supply necessary equipment and transportation for said equipment to projects
Specific Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Valid Subcontractor Excavator license
- Valid Liability Insurance
- Proven experience as an excavator operator or subcontractor in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of excavation techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Work Environment: - Work will primarily be performed outdoors on construction sites.
- May require extended hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on project timelines.
