What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Analyst position at IES Residential, Inc.?
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Treasury Manager in daily cash management activities. The Treasury Analyst is also responsible for working with the Treasury team and other departments to promote the company’s treasury strategy and manage daily treasury transactions. The Treasury Analyst will exhibit self-motivation, ability to work independently and a willingness to learn and grow.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cash management duties, including daily cash reporting for multiple business segments, sending wires and ACH payments, stop payments, running bank reports and managing short term borrowings and investments.
- Work with other departments to investigate and resolve day-to-day inquiries.
- Document and maintain treasury policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between external vendors and banks regularly in relation to cash management questions and issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Respond to inquiries and data requests from internal and external auditors
- Work with team on process improvement projects and automation of processes
- Assist with compliance activities including collateral reporting to lender
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Minimum Education
College

- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- Ability to work individually and within a team
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily work
- Possess high level of initiative, self-starter
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge
- General Accounting experience
- SOX experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel & Powerpoint)
