IFC’s CSI is seeking an intern as part of our Global Internship Program (GIP). The Global Internship Program (GIP) offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of IFC and the broader World Bank Group and become part of the largest private sector development institution in the world. The program encourages individuals to bring new perspectives and innovative ideas to IFC’s work, while improving skills in a diverse and highly stimulating environment. Moreover, the Global Internship Program provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and network with international professionals dedicated to ending extreme poverty and boosting prosperity in the developing world.
Duties And Accountabilities
The intern will assist our Corporate Knowledge and Learning team in conducting a comprehensive learning needs analysis and evaluating the impact of current learning initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in organizational learning and development, data analysis, and
strategic planning.

Duties And Accountabilities
The intern will assist our Corporate Knowledge and Learning team in conducting a comprehensive learning needs analysis and evaluating the impact of current learning initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in organizational learning and development, data analysis, and
strategic planning.
- Gather qualitative and quantitative data through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and existing records, e.g. Performance Objectives, Talent Reviews, Career Development Plans. Analyze collected data to identify trends and prioritize learning needs.
- Assess the effectiveness of existing learning programs by collecting and analyzing participant feedback, performance metrics, and other relevant data. Apply evaluation frameworks and tools to measure learning outcomes and their alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations and present to the Corporate Knowledge and Learning team and relevant stakeholders.
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree level program.
- Preferred field of study: Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous work experience.
- Strong analytical and research skills with proficiency in data collection and interpretation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with survey tools or data visualization software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Interest in corporate learning and development and a passion for driving organizational success.
- Availability for at least 10 weeks (dates flexible).
