The Project Manager – 1 is the single point of accountability for the end-to-end execution of assigned Capital projects in the range of $1M to $5M and may execute projects up to $10M. Working with leadership, technology, maintenance, operations, engineering, safety and quality, the Project Manager is accountable to the site for capital projects implementation, status reporting and optimal utilization of site team/external engineering in compliance with site and corporate work processes.

Working with leadership, technology, maintenance, operations, engineering, safety and quality, the Project Manager is accountable to the site for capital projects implementation, status reporting and optimal utilization of site team/external engineering in compliance with site and corporate work processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop Project Objectives: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and align on project goals.
- Execution Strategy: Coordinate with engineering managers to create and prioritize project execution plans.
- Economic Model: Work with finance to develop economic justifications for the project.
- Team Leadership: Ensure clear roles, reasonable workloads, and effective communication within the team.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly update and align with the project steering team and functional leaders.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all EHS and Process Safety Management requirements are met.
- Procurement and Contracting: Engage early with sourcing to align on procurement strategies and use preferred vendors.
- Construction Management: Oversee safe execution of construction activities and ensure readiness for commissioning and start-up.
- Cost and Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules and cost estimates, and manage changes.
- Continuous Improvement: Pursue continuous improvement in safety and project execution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Process / Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Bio-Tech, Food Technology Engineering
- 5 years of experience in end to end capital project management and implementing projects in active operating/production areas (food/pharma industry preferred)
- Construction Safety Rules & Regulations (OSHA 510 or equivalent)
- Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus
