Responsibilities/Description
- Accountable for logistics operations across all transport modes and regional warehouses, ensuring alignment with site logistics.
- Supports and leads the implementation of a Logistics Strategy, focusing on service, cost-to-serve, and HSEQ compliance.
- Defines, maintains, and reports KPIs, driving a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring proper controls.
- Collaborates with logistics procurement to contract service providers for capacity, service, and price, ensuring safety and sustainability.
- Works closely with business partners to understand capacity needs and ensure logistics solutions meet business/customer expectations.
- Creates visibility and accountability on projects, linking logistics activities to business unit strategic initiatives.
- Identifies cost reduction opportunities using knowledge of the global logistics market, trends, and capabilities.
- Leads 3PL management, providing strategic oversight and ensuring supplier SLAs and scorecards are delivered.
- Accountable for inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and physical inventory execution.
- Manages logistics budget, develops financial reports, drives cost productivity, and oversees talent management, including recruitment, development, and succession planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management or similar fields.
- 12 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management for manufacturing shippers.
- 10 years of management-level experience.
- Experience in logistics within Integrated Supply Chain and direct people management in a matrix environment.
- Multi-country or regional experience managing diverse stakeholders, with industry experience in Food, Pharma, or Chemicals.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- APICS or ASCM or equivalent certification
- SAP multiple trainings on functional areas of expertise
