What Will I Do In This Role?
- Use analytical skills to generate detailed quantitative sales reports by client, program, and channel of distribution to assist in sales revenue, sell-through, and product inventory projections.
- Complete region, chain, and/or store level evaluation, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
- Complete sku level evaluation and analysis.
- Develop and deliver recommendations in terms of sku assortment, plan-o-grams, product placement and sell-through.
- Model and generate sales forecast based on client historical sales and POS reports.
- Maintain, analyze, and trend POS and sell-through reports.
- Maintain knowledge of margin analysis.
- Support ad hoc requests from various areas of the organization including Finance, Inventory Planning, Product Development, Marketing and Sales.
- Manage client inventory levels, replenishment requirements, scripting of orders and monitor sell-through.
- Serve as the lead contact and owner of client performance data.
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings and calls with Sales Managers and VPs to review sales, trends, and recommendations.
- Regularly develop and present consumer insights and trends to retail partners and organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other relevant degree.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in statistical analysis.
- Advanced level Excel experience (ability to independently develop new Excel models, charts, and graphs as necessary); Access experience is a plus.
- Advanced command of customer specific applications: Retail Link / Luminate / Scintilla.
- Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze statistical data and develop relevant mathematical models.
- Proven ability to organize and analyze large sets of data into meaningful and concise reports and propose solutions to maximize sales.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with frequently changing priorities and varying deadlines.
