What Will I Do In This Role?
This entry-level position offers part-time remote work flexibility, with an onsite presence required 1-2 days per week. It is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career to gain hands-on experience with HR systems and contribute to compliance and learning initiatives.
This role provides a strong foundation for growth, with the potential to expand responsibilities in compliance and other HR functions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Serve as the subject matter expert in administering the XpertHR compliance platform.
- Develop expertise in other HR systems, including onboarding and performance management.
- Stay current on updated legislation and execute tasks to ensure compliance, including providing updates to the appropriate individuals.
- Maintain accurate minimum wage tables.
- Assist with HR audits and other compliance functions.
- Compile data using HRIS reports, spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations.
- Support the implementation and management of LinkedIn Learning, including user management, content organization, and reporting.
- Assist the HR team with administrative tasks, such as responding to employee questions about HR policies.
- Serve as a backup HRIS administrator to ensure the seamless operation of the ADP system.
What Skills Do I Need?
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent on-the-job training. A bachelor’s degree in human resources is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Systems experience is a plus but not required, including HRIS, organizational chart software, applicant tracking, onboarding, and / or performance management systems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to accept feedback and work effectively in a team environment.
