**Job Requirements**
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our meat department team at IGA Southeast. As a Butcher and Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality products to our customers while providing exceptional customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Cut, trim, and prepare product for sale according to established standards.
- Price, stock, and rotate frozen and prepared meats and fresh meat case effectively.
- Provide special customer service requests, such as special cuts or slicing.
- Maintain high sanitation standards in the cooler, sales, and prep areas.
- Communicate temperature failures to supervisors promptly.
- Announce meat department sale items on the PA system to inform customers.
**Requirements**
- A minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Able to lift 100 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly.
- Prior meat cutting experience is preferred.
- Meat cutting skill test qualifications are required.
- Ability to work in a cold environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
