What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruitment Assistant position at IGHL?
The Recruitment Assistant is responsible to assist with HR department during the recruitment process.
This position is temporary and part-time; Tuesday & Thursday 9a-5p.
Duties and Responsibilities
E- Connotes Essential Functions
E-1 Prepare and post job advertisements online and in print media including, but not limited to: DOL, LinkedIn and really.
E-2 Budgets really sponsored job postings on a monthly basis.
E-3 Update internal job posting and IGHL website daily.
E-4 Screen and track new incoming applicants to be passed along to receptionist.
E-5 For specific positions, receives resumes, reviews, then passes to hiring manager if qualified. From there, if interested schedules interviews.
E-6 Schedules interviews and appointments for applicants and new hires.
E-7 Sends out New Hire Survey via SurkeyMonkey on a monthly basis.
E-8 Assists with onboarding paperwork of students.
E-9 Assists with creating ID cards for new hires and existing employees.
E-10 Update internal job posting and IGHL website daily.
E-11 Registers recruitment for hiring events.
E-12 Tracks recruitment advertisements, ads, hiring events on a monthly basis.
E-13 Reports monthly applicants, rehires, survey completion, bonus totals and sends to HR Manager.
E-14 Create flyers/advertisements for IGHL social media accounts and post daily.
E-15 Process and track employee referral and sign-on bonus’s
E‑16 Process rehires from IGHL and their affiliates.
E‑17 Assists with the internal transfer process.
E‑18 Assists with the per diem process.
E-19 Ongoing search for new productive ways to recruit.
E-20 Upholds the highest level of confidentiality.
E-21 Assists Receptionist with front desk coverage as needed.
E-22 Assists with revising position descriptions.
E-23 Conducts exit interviews as needed.
E-24 Acts in a support role to Recruiters when needed.
E-25 All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid NYS driver’s license
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Human Resources experience preferred
- Enthusiastic team player, excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Typing experience (45 wpm)
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Facebook/Instagram, Internet Explorer preferred)
- Ability to multitask, handle a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of confidentiality
