Primary Role
Reporting to company President to ensure accounting and finance are accurate, under control and simplified, the Controller works with and oversees Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, Banking, Insurance and Governmental Compliance with multiple state taxation and documentation requirements.
Detailed Activities
- Manage, oversee and assist team of two staff accountants responsible for:
- Accounting transactions ensuring proper account coding
- Accounts receivable and collections
- Accounts payable invoices and expense reports
- Job cost analyses and track labor hours against projects
- Reconciliation of credit card statement
- Generation of financial statement schedules
- Generate and expedite purchase orders and assist with sourcing
- Processing inbound deliveries
- Processing outbound shipments
- Manage cash flow processes, including vendor payments and other financial commitments.
- Track and update fixed asset schedules as needed.
- Coordinate and maintain tax-related communication with relevant tax agencies.
- Partner with external CPA, prepare monthly and annual tax filings.
- Address discrepancies and resolve issues within the financial database.
- Maximize the use of financial data to support business operations effectively.
- Adapt corporate strategies to align with the needs of a growing business.
Qualifications
- Expertise in optimizing NetSuite for accounting and operational use
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Required
- 5-10 years of experience in a senior accounting and finance role required
- Creative thinking, strong interpersonal, communication and people skills, with a focus on customer service and client satisfaction
- Organized, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple responsibilities
- Ethics, accountability, honesty, and integrity must be of the highest caliber
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States
Travel
No out of state/overnight travel.
Work Hours
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Pay
Salary range is $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.

IGI focuses primarily on three key segments of the AV space: 1) Advanced Visualization, 2) Advanced Audio-Visual Integration, and 3) Corporate AV Integration.
Advanced Visualization projects involve the design, engineering, fabrication and building of large scale, high-resolution visualization systems for the Fortune 50 and U.S. Military. These technology solutions include PowerWalls, virtual reality (VR) Rooms, and immersive stereo/3D technologies including motion capture labs.
Advanced Audio-Visual Integrations projects consist of large dvLED and other LED video wall solutions, control rooms, and other complex, sophisticated solutions.
