Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented HWIL Testbed Lead to join our team supporting The MAVIS (Mars Ascent Vehicle Integrated System) Program, in Huntsville, AL. This position is expected to be hybrid (3-4 days in the office). The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical oversight and lead the development and integration of a Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) / Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL). The candidate will lead the daily operation of the SIL facility and plan the daily, weekly, and long-term SIL schedule. The candidate will be the key resource for the SIL facility on test planning and operations. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the MAVIS program, one of NASA’s most ambitious Mars exploration missions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technical oversite and lead the development of a Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL)
- Plan the short-term and long-term SIL Schedule
- Provide technical leadership on test planning and operations.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or a related field preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education
- 5 years of experience (Master’s Degree 3 years of experience)
- Experience standing up and managing a Hardware-In-The-Loop testbed including ability to estimate level of effort to develop testbed.
- Experience developing test cases to be executed in a HWIL.
- Experience developing requirements to capture required testbed capabilities.
- Experience in communicating and briefing program management
- Possess strong, demonstrated leadership and the ability to work with personnel from diverse backgrounds and disciplines both internal and external to the organization.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM Discipline
