Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented HWIL Testbed Lead to join our team supporting The MAVIS (Mars Ascent Vehicle Integrated System) Program, in Huntsville, AL. This position is expected to be hybrid (3-4 days in the office). The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical oversight and lead the development and integration of a Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) / Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL). The candidate will lead the daily operation of the SIL facility and plan the daily, weekly, and long-term SIL schedule. The candidate will be the key resource for the SIL facility on test planning and operations. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the MAVIS program, one of NASA’s most ambitious Mars exploration missions.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

· Technical oversite and lead the development of a Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL)

· Plan the short-term and long-term SIL Schedule

· Provide technical leadership on test planning and operations.

 

 

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or a related field preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education

· 5 years of experience (Master’s Degree 3 years of experience)

· Experience standing up and managing a Hardware-In-The-Loop testbed including ability to estimate level of effort to develop testbed.

· Experience developing test cases to be executed in a HWIL.

· Experience developing requirements to capture required testbed capabilities.

· Experience in communicating and briefing program management

· Possess strong, demonstrated leadership and the ability to work with personnel from diverse backgrounds and disciplines both internal and external to the organization.

None. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (ITAR & Export Control compliance).

 

 

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM Discipline
