Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated instructors to join our team for our summer camp for elementary-aged students, ages 5-12. Our summer camp is intended to be an enriching experience for youth in the McCall area with a fun theme for each week. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with youth during various activities and events.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and friendship among youth
- Ensure the safety of all youth by adhering to Ignite Idaho policies and procedures at all times
- Coordinate and communicate with other Ignite Idaho staff to ensure best services possible
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities
- Administer first aid as needed and respond to emergencies promptly
- Pay attention to detail and document activities/other things necessary for success of program
Qualifications
- Experience working with children and understanding of child development
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Current first aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain one promptly
- A clean driving record
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
