Summer Camp Instructor

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated instructors to join our team for our summer camp for elementary-aged students, ages 5-12. Our summer camp is intended to be an enriching experience for youth in the McCall area with a fun theme for each week. If you have a passion for working with children and are looking for the perfect summer job (10 weeks), we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with youth during various activities and events.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational programs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and friendship among youth
• Ensure the safety of all youth by adhering to Ignite Idaho policies and procedures at all times
• Coordinate and communicate with other Ignite Idaho staff to ensure best services possible
• Communicate effectively with parents
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities
• Administer first aid as needed and respond to emergencies promptly
• Pay attention to detail and document activities/other things necessary for success of program

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and understanding of child development
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Current first aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain one promptly
• A clean driving record

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
