Your Role
Client & Program Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for CBP clients, ensuring strong client relationships, high levels of customer satisfaction, and overall program success
- Drive customer engagement, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution across programs
- Oversee contract and team performance, including delivery, cost management, and compliance
- Manage the performance review process and communication
- Identify new business opportunities within CBP and adjacent agencies, leveraging existing relationships and program success
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CBP and adjacent agency stakeholders, industry partners, and government decision-makers
- Support the development and execution of capture strategies, including competitive analysis, teaming arrangements, and proposal development
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and government meetings to enhance visibility and business positioning
- Develop and execute account growth strategies in collaboration with business development, capture, and proposal teams
- Work closely with executive leadership to develop long-term account strategies and revenue growth plans
- Monitor industry trends, policy changes, and CBP budget priorities to inform business development efforts
- Maintain awareness of CBP priorities, challenges, and evolving requirements to align solutions with mission needs
- Support internal teams with operational planning, workforce management, and compliance requirements
What's Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in account management, and or business development
- Good experience managing employee and contract staff greater than 75 individuals
- Proven track record as an account manager or manager for complex federal programs and delivering successful contract outcomes
- Experience with government contracting vehicles (e.g., IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs) and capture management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
- US Citizenship required and the ability to obtain a US Federal Government Public Trust clearance.
- Prior experience working with CBP, DHS (Components), or other law enforcement/homeland security agencies
- Experience with GSA schedules, DHS BPA or IDIQs, or CBP-specific contract vehicles
