Salary: $50,000

Essential Function: As part of the Community Programs Department, this position provides orientation, training, and direct supervision to Ignite?s Drop-In Resource Center (DiRC) and Housing Navigation program staff and clients. Within the Drop-In Resource Center, ensures service models, client deliverables and programmatic outcomes are aligned with the agency vision, mission and values, and adhere to the core tenets of harm reduction, trauma informed care, and positive youth development. Responsible for ensuring outcomes and deliverables are appropriately measured and reported. Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to the mission and core values of Ignite. Reports to the Senior Director of Program Development.



Duty Summary: The following duties are the essential functions of this position. Successful job applicants will be able to perform these essential functions with or without requested reasonable accommodation.

Program Management

  • Ensures that the development and delivery of all DiRC youth development services embody the agency?s youth development philosophies.
  • Responsible for program planning and evaluation. Analyzes program data and provides reports to staff, senior leadership, and the board regarding staff and client performance measures.
  • Monitors Drop-In services and Housing Navigation intake process and ensures enrolled client files, including intakes, ongoing case management, and exit paperwork are accurate and meet government funding requirements.
  • Participates in weekly external Coordinated Entry (CE) meetings to identify appropriate housing matches via the Coordinated Entry System (CES).
  • Works closely with other program leaders to ensure staff embrace a collaborative culture.
  • Collaborate with staff in all departments to assist with grant making, donor tours, funding reviews, and volunteer activities.
  • Ensure accurate client data is collected to support all grant requirements and is accurately entered into required agency databases.
  • Coordinates the work of DiRC staff and community connections in developing vocational, education, and life skills programming provided to youth accessing DiRC services.

Staff Supervision

  • Provides leadership to the Drop-In Center program team and Housing Navigation Case Manager while fostering a culture of communication and accountability.
  • Hires, trains, and supervises Drop-In Resource Center team to ensure:
  • Smooth functioning of quality case management and milieu service delivery.
  • Proper and timely documentation of service provision, client activities, and progress made towards goals and outcomes.
  • Identifies staff development and training needs and provides coaching and training as required.
  • Supervises the following positions:
    • Youth Development Coordinator ? Full-Time
    • Drop-In Center Case Managers ? Full-time
    • Housing Navigation Case Manager - Full-Time
  • Provides regular supervision with the oversight of the Senior Director of Program Development.
  • Ensures all agency program staff are appropriately cross trained in all program departments to ensure collaborative understanding and alignment of agency?s mission.

Drop-In Center Milieu

  • Manages milieu schedule to assure proper shift coverage and support.
  • Adjusts schedules as necessary so that the maximum number of staff can participate in trainings and agency meetings.
  • Provides general supervision and appropriate intervention in the milieu.
  • Manages any crisis and/or emergency that may occur in the DiRC.
  • Engages youth in activities and programming and accompanies youth on approved activities outside of DiRC program. Presents proper activity documentation to include receipts.
  • Works with the team to ensure that the delivery of all services embody Ignite philosophies.

Documentation/Communication

  • Completes all required shift and client related documentation as outlined.
  • Actively participate in trainings and team meetings as required.

General

  • Prepares and submits all required forms and statistical documentation. Maintain documents regarding participants? cooperation, daily activities, and other records in compliance with agency and external policies, procedures and applicable licensing standards.
  • Works as part of the program team to provide support and assistance whenever needed.
  • Follows agency policies and procedures for the obtainment of information and provision of services to clients.
  • 1st level adjudicator for client grievances.
  • Provides arbitration for client disagreements with staff and/or other clients.
  • Member of committees and teams including, but not limited to:
    • Community Programs Team
    • Client Support Team (CST)
  • Participates in program planning and evaluation.
  • Participates in and contributes to regularly scheduled supervisory and team meetings.
  • Manages direct reports to assure compliance with all agency policies and procedures.
  • May supervise volunteer and/or intern tasks, as assigned.
  • Participates in on-call weekly rotation with other staff. When on-call, must be able to get to program site within 90 minutes to deal with crises or coverage needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
