Responsibilities
This Senior Financial Analyst primarily supports the reporting, analysis and communication of financial performance and outlook for IGT’s North American Lottery business with the goal of accelerating top-line revenue growth, enhancing profitability and cash flow generation, protecting the business assets, mitigating risks, and highlighting potential opportunities to improve the business. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing a wide scope of financial information and insights to segment and regional executive management and corporate financial functions. This position will also play a critical role in providing financial support both locally and to business partners in Italy. S/he will report directly to the Manager Finance, North America Lottery and will work closely with Sr. Director NA Finance and SVP Global Finance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide the financial skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to analyze, communicate and direct the financial performance of the North American Lottery business, including:
- Monthly analysis and communication of actual KPI and financial statement performance vs. the prior year, budget and current forecast including pre-close flash and post-close financial reviews
- Monthly consolidate and analyze business segment financials including sales, revenues, costs, capital, and free cash flows. Support preparation of financial, operational, and business information for monthly Lottery Segment executive operations review meetings
- Prepare monthly reporting packages and presentations for senior and executive level business leaders by leveraging Power BI dashboarding and other automation tools
- Quarterly consolidation, analysis, and communication of KPI and financial statement forecasts for current fiscal year results including risks and opportunities to the plan
- Financial support for a newly created business line – including KPIs, Gross Profit, SG&A, and R&D
- Perform month end closing activities for new business line and support groups
- Work closely with Products and Services organizations and coordinate software capitalization
- On-going collaboration with business partners to ensure plan alignment on key volume related KPI, including Sales growth expectations, Headcount, Software deliveries, and Capital
- On-going assessment and improvement of the processes supporting the activities above including but not limited to designing, building, and maintaining SAP/BPC reporting
Qualifications
- 6 years of job-related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related area required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Technical competence and willingness to learn new technologies and software applications
- Motivated self-starter with capacity to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to various business partners and senior leadership levels

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
