GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position shall report directly to the Vice President of ECS and will be responsible for assisting in the growth of the EOT and Port Crane Industry in the Eastern half of United States and the Gulf of Mexico. The position will be working closely with key customers, sales, and product managers to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position shall report directly to the Vice President of ECS and will be responsible for assisting in the growth of the EOT and Port Crane Industry in the Eastern half of United States and the Gulf of Mexico. The position will be working closely with key customers, sales, and product managers to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and increase market share in the USA.
- Provide technical support for US and Canada sales team for quotes and onsite service
- Assist in pricing both standard and custom parts to sales
- Manage time effectively to grow all crane business in North America.
- Ongoing observation and analysis of market and competition situation
- Assist in some marketing activities such as catalog and other printed materials
- Help coordinate direct marketing efforts in the department: Smart Attacks, focused mailings, etc.
- Help establish and maintain special project-lists and competition lists with the National Sales Manager
- Attend industry events and conferences to develop new business and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Assist with the preparation of both regional and national sales meetings
- Crane industry sales experience
- Previous experience in Technical Sales, 2 years minimum
- Up to 75% overnight travel in USA and Canada to project sites for quoting, sales assistance and project supervision as required
- Additional travel to Trade Shows, with Regional Sales Managers or to Sales Meetings will be required, as needed.
- Must be proficient in MS Office
- Ability to obtain Twic Card for port work
