Summary of Position:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling insurance products to our members while providing exceptional service and contributing to the overall success of the team.
The successful candidate should have following skills/qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Property/Casualty insurance license or ability to obtain one within 30 days
- Minimum 3 years successful sales experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with members.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address and resolve member concerns.
- Reliable, motivated, and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with members and potential members to determine their needs by reviewing existing coverage or making recommendations for any gaps of coverage they may benefit from.
- Present quotes of all opportunities through carriers and place policies for best fit of the member while thoroughly explaining the details of the policy.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of each carrier by regularly reviewing underwriting guidelines while continuing relationships with each carrier.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes to better serve our members.
- Conduct all transactions in accordance with State Insurance Laws and Insurance agency.
- Maintain current insurance license(s) in good standing with the States.
