What are the responsibilities and job description for the Precision Masking Supervisor position at IHC, LLC?
INTRODUCTION:
This procedure will outline the reporting relationships, authority, duties and responsibilities and standards of performance of the Precision Masking Supervisor.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
The Precision Masking Supervisor is responsible for the results of all activities in the Masking Department and reports directly to the Section 2 Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. Individuals shall perform typical Precision Masking Supervisor duties to support the production floor, including, but not limited to the following tasks:
· To supervise and ensure parts are masked and unmasked in accordance with the operation sheet, work instruction, shop order or part print.
· To run jobs independently
· To complete the appropriate paperwork and navigate the necessary computerized operating systems.
· To train new employees in assigned area on masking procedures and safety protocols
· To communicate with team members and/or Supervisors any questions or concerns regarding quality or productivity.
· To coordinate with other departments to meet production goals
· To manage inventor of masking materials and supplies.
· To consistently meet or exceed both quality and production standards
· Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
· To work overtime, including weekends and holidays, on relatively short notice, when customer requirements demand we respond.
· Work in a friendly, cooperative manner with all members of the IHC Team.
· Follow all safety and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements as described in our PPE Assessments procedure.
· To provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given tasks.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active and requires:
· The ability to perform repetitive tasks, using your arms and hands for the duration of the scheduled shift (8 hours or more)
· Constant sitting or standing depending on parts to be masked, bending and twisting for the duration of the scheduled shift (8 hours or more)
· The ability to regularly lift up to 15 pounds, lifting parts or part containers to a height of up to 40”, carrying parts or part containers a distance up to 4’ to masking table.
· The ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds, lifting parts or part containers to a height of up to 40", carrying parts or part containers a distance up to 4’ to masking table.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
