What We Need : We're seeking an experienced Traffic Reporter and Producer. Must be willing to work a variety of fill-in shifts, which could include weekends, overnights, split shifts (morning and afternoon drive), holidays, and evenings. Must live in the greater Denver metro area and have an in-depth knowledge of Denver roads. Knowledge of Northern Colorado, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Salt Lake City is a plus. Broadcasting experience or education is strongly preferred.

What You'll Do :

Gather regional traffic information and enter details into internal computer and web systemsRead traffic reports, commercials, and public service messages to listenersIdentify, research, and create copy regarding traffic to feature during on-air shift; finalizes content using digital audio editing softwareManage information; keeping all facts straight, making sure details are accurate and current, and tracking any changesMaintain crucial deadlines in order to provide traffic updates in a timely fashionWhat You'll Need :

Knowledge of local coverage area geography and roadways, mass transit and traffic patternsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, and Word (Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint a plus)Pleasant, charismatic and well-controlled voice; excellent pronunciationExperience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, "newsroom-like" collaborative environmentAbility to plan and organize, set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentMust have good availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, overnights, holidays, morning and afternoon drive, middays, evenings, and holidays.Previous on-air broadcast experienceCollege degree is preferred but not requiredWhat You'll Bring :
