In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations and fraud prevention measures. The role involves monitoring and analyzing transactions and alerts for suspicious activity and conducting investigations to identify potentially illegal or fraudulent activities.
This role will enjoy a hybrid working environment at our beautiful headquarters located on River Drive in Moline, IL. This facility includes a comfortable office environment with an on-site gym facility.
The role is a hybrid position that will include duties related to BSA and Fraud. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing BSA and Fraud alerts from our BSA software to determine further actions as necessary. These notifications will include our Customer Due Diligence and High-Risk monitoring alerts. The role also requires assisting and handling direct fraud matters and questions from our team members and members. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully handle multiple duties and complex situations at any given time.

Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in fraud or anti-money laundering, within a financial institution or relatable field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and interpret complex data.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and commitment to member service.
- Respond and assist with Fraud and BSA related questions through various channels including chat, phone, opportunities, email, etc. This will include any loan or new account fraud attempts and determining escalation to the Fraud Investigator.
- Contact members to attempt to resolve fraud issues. Continually communicate with staff, through all available means, regarding current fraud trends or other notifications.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members, vendors and outside law enforcement to assist in the development of strategies and controls to detect fraud and minimize losses.
- Keep up to date with current fraud trends in the financial services industry. Establish procedures that will assist in identifying crimes against the credit union and preserve evidence that may aid in identification or prosecution.
- Daily review and post provisional credits from debit and credit card dispute cases.
- Act as the backup BSA Officer for the credit union and have understanding of the critical components of our BSA program.
