Job Overview

The Territory Sales Representative position at IKO North America is a key role in driving sales growth and expanding market share in the building products industry. As a sales professional, you will be responsible for planning and executing territory activities to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and grow sales revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution customers, roofing contractors, builders, and architects.
  • Presentation of products and programs to qualified distributors and end-users on a weekly basis.
  • Manage territory pricing based on competitive situations.
  • Investigate and process product quality complaints in the territory.
  • Organize and execute business plans to meet territory sales goals and customer needs.
  • Utilize approved sales/marketing tools within budget.
  • Timely and effective communication of market and competitive information as well as requests for pricing or payment exceptions.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, a professional and results-driven attitude, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and other essential business software. Additionally, you will need to be highly detail-oriented, proactive, deadline-focused, and adept at managing multiple priorities. Experience in the building products industry, prior sales training, and a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets are preferred.
