Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative support tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions via email, mail and phone.
- Maintains filing systems as assigned.
- Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Coordinates and schedules meetings and appointments for managers or supervisors.
- Liaises with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
- Assists in ad-hoc HR projects.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Previous Human Resources experience is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Strong customer service orientation as well as present a professional, executive presence
- Proficiency with Microsoft computer applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
- Proven track record of handling confidential information
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience working in the sports and entertainment industry
Working Conditions:
- Office Environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
